This week, the marketing team for builder Alloy Yachts released a sizable collection of photographs of the newly launched, 191-foot sailing yacht Kokomo. She has just completed sea trials and final fit-out, and she is en route to the South Pacific, where she will become available for charter this summer to a "limited number of well-screened" guests.


Instead of pasting all the photos in a big, long column for you to scroll down, I thought it would be more fun to set them to music in the form of a two-minute video.


Is that special treatment compared with other charter yachts? Maybe... but Kokomo is, after all, the largest sailing yacht ever to be built in New Zealand, and thus one of the most highly anticipated yachts to enter the charter market for all of 2010. I think she deserves it.
